About this Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our clients in a variety of industries.

Your Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of engagements, including yearend audits and tax returns. You will also be responsible for building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to their requests and suggestions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare yearend engagements and tax returns for clients in a variety of industries
  • Perform audits on a range of organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients and respond to their requests and suggestions
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team
Your Experience and Education

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in accounting and auditing. You should have completed your CPA designation or be in the process of completion. You should also have at least 23 years of experience in the public accounting industry.
