Job Title: DZ Delivery Driver

EMCO Corporation is seeking a reliable and skilled DZ Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks at customer and vendor locations
  • Drive the EMCO truck in a safe manner and in compliance with company policy and regulations
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and inform management of any mechanical problems
  • Unload materials at customer locations and obtain signatures
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve shipping discrepancies
  • Load trucks at other locations, including material picked up at vendors and returns by customers
  • Support all Profit Centre activities as part of the Profit Centre team
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • Possess a valid DZ driver's license
  • A clean driver's abstract that demonstrates good driving skills in compliance with company policy
  • 3+ Years experience driving a truck and making deliveries
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial vehicles subject to Provincial Ministry of Transportation regulations
  • Understanding of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
  • Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing or building products sold at the Profit Centre
  • HIAB Boom experience
