Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Farm Equipment Operator to join our team at Immigrate. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of farm equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery to till soil, plant, cultivate, and harvest crops.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document all maintenance and report to management to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Order parts and supplies as required to maintain equipment and machinery.
  • Monitor equipment and machinery operations to detect malfunctions and take corrective action.
  • Follow established safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • May perform minor repairs to farm equipment and machinery.
  • May supervise general farm laborers and provide guidance and training as needed.
Requirements
  • Operation of skid-steer and farm tractor is an asset.
  • Small engine repair experience is an asset.
  • Punctuality and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Must be courteous and respectful in all interactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends during busy periods.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Able to complete repetitive tasks if required.
