Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the highest standards of clinical education for undergraduate nursing students.
  • Evaluate and mentor clinical instructors, ensuring adherence to best practices in clinical nursing.
  • Engage with Clinical Instructors, Health Care Providers, and academic staff to address concerns and enhance the clinical program's quality.
  • Participate in the recruitment and mentoring of new clinical instructors.
  • Ensure consistent support across all clinical sites.
  • Collaborate with Course Instructors to align clinical objectives with educational strategies.
  • Facilitate fair evaluation practices for students in collaboration with Clinical Instructors.
  • Monitor the clinical learning environment to guarantee effective mentorship and supervision for students.
  • Identify and address barriers to students' clinical learning and professional growth.
  • Stay updated on the theoretical nursing curriculum to ensure it aligns with clinical practices.
  • Work with faculty to identify improvement areas and enhance clinical competencies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related discipline.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Current immunizations and health requirements as mandated by agencies.
  • Minimum of three years of recent clinical experience, including clinical instruction.
  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated teaching capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nursing skills and standards.
  • Familiarity with nursing legislation and risk management policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant technology applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including active listening and collaborative abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
