Full-Time Entry Level Residential Energy Home Inspector

Sovereign's Capital is in search of a motivated and skilled Full-Time Quality Assurance and Energy Specialist to join our dynamic team. Comprehensive training for this role is provided in-house, and no prior experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations of construction sites for energy assessments and quality control.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Complete all evaluation documentation using electronic systems and onsite energy compliance forms.
  • Effectively communicate construction quality issues and energy code requirements to onsite personnel.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with supervisors and clients to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to propose solutions that enhance the quality of newly constructed homes in accordance with energy code standards.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills in the energy efficiency and construction sectors.
Qualifications
  • No prior experience required; however, familiarity with general construction is advantageous.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Capability to navigate inclines and uneven terrain.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are important.
  • Must be a positive team player.
  • Willingness to travel and work at remote locations is required.
Physical Demands

This role involves rigorous tasks, including equipment setup, but once mastered, individual inspections can be performed efficiently. The physical requirements outlined here are representative of what must be met by an employee to successfully fulfill the essential functions of this position.   • Exhibit full mobility in both upper and lower body.
  • Reach overhead as necessary.
  • Lift weights as required throughout the workday.

  • Lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Compensation

Salary range: $38,000 - $42,000
