Job Title: Tractor Trailer Driver - Long Haul

Eassons Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Operate and maintain a two-person team or convoy
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Defensive Driving Course
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Professional Driver Improvement Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with refrigerated goods
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
