We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ontario Certified Teacher to join our team at Scholars Learning Centre Inc. as a Primary/Junior/Intermediate tutor. As a tutor and mentor, you will be responsible for providing individualized academic support to students in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach JK to grade 8 curriculum in Language and Math to students in a 1:1 or 2:1 setting.
- Use provided materials and follow our system for grading student work and providing meaningful feedback.
- Work collaboratively with students to help them learn and master their academic skills.
- Ontario Certified Teacher certification.
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring students in a teaching environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Flexibility to work during core hours of Mon-Fri 4-8pm and Sat 10am-2pm.
Scholars Learning Centre Inc. is a leading provider of in-centre tutoring services for students from JK to grade 12. We employ highly qualified Ontario Certified Teachers to teach in small student-to-teacher ratios and rely on our mastery criteria program to help enhance students' competencies and knowledge.
