Food Service Manager

La Cara Tacos is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our customers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring our food and service meet the highest expectations.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with our chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in the food service industry is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and walking.
