Food Service Manager

La Cara Tacos is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Team Management: Hire food service staff, establish work schedules, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, team player.
30 to 40 hours per week, permanent position, work language: English.
