Technical Field Trainer and Support Specialist

Tomlinson Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Field Trainer and Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for having an in-depth understanding of and training our field users to use the various applications required by our field personnel in technologies such as SAP Fiori, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Office/Teams, mobile devices and hardware, and various other line of business-related mobile applications including the related end-to-end process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain training programs for field users on various applications and technologies.
  • Manage the training schedule and ensure that all field users are trained in a timely manner.
  • Provide ongoing support to field users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with the technical team to identify and escalate technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including user manuals and training videos.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the training program based on feedback from field users and management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure that training programs are current and effective.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical training and support is an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Microsoft Power Apps considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • French language ability considered an asset.
