Senior Data Management Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Senior Manager, Data Management to join our Enterprise Data Office. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of a Data Quality Management solution, ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient sharing of data across CMHC.
Key Responsibilities- Develop standardized frameworks and processes to measure and improve data governance performance.
- Participate in corporate information and data governance committees to drive strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities to leverage data for strategic advantage.
- Lead the management of data-driven initiatives to support business objectives aligned with CMHC's strategic goals.
- Provide expertise and leadership in the design and operationalization of comprehensive corporate information governance policies.
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as computer systems, information management, or business administration.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data governance and management, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with data management practices, processes, and technologies.
- Strong leadership skills to influence behaviors and provide strategic advice to Senior Management.
- Advanced communication skills with experience in developing and operationalizing policies, directives, and standards.
- Bilingualism (English and French).
- A broad understanding of mortgage loan insurance, affordable/social programs, real estate, and/or finance.
- Certified Information and Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C) certification or equivalent industry-recognized certifications.
- Awareness of data privacy regulations and Data Quality industry standards.
