About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Beaver Bank Station. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our food and service meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that orders are accurate and complete
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that they are presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
