Job Overview
The Medical Imaging Technologist is responsible for executing specialized examinations or procedures that necessitate advanced expertise. This role includes providing hands-on training to fellow technologists and, when required, performing general duties after the completion of specialized assessments.

Areas of Expertise Include:

  • Autonomous double-contrast barium enema procedures;
  • Angiographic techniques;
  • Diagnostic ultrasound;
  • Hemodynamic studies;
  • Mammographic imaging;
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI);
  • Computed Tomography (CT Scan).
The demand for professionals in the medical imaging field is on the rise within our region, with numerous part-time roles available throughout the Outaouais area.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Radiodiagnostic Technology from an accredited institution recognized by the relevant authorities.

Membership in the Order of Technologists in Medical Imaging, Radiotherapy, and Medical Electrophysiology of Quebec is required.
