Overview: Vancouver Coastal Health is in search of a committed Registered Nurse to become a vital member of the General Surgery unit at Sechelt Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, which includes assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care, as well as engaging in discharge planning to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Exhibit proficiency in nursing practices relevant to the assigned patient demographic.
- Effectively communicate with patients and team members, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities through initiative and self-reliance.
- Possess the physical capacity to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
