We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Apple Hotel Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior surfaces of our properties are beautifully painted and decorated.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Painting and Decorating
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Estimation and Planning
- Estimate costs and materials
- Health and Safety
- Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Skills
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Physical Demands
- Physically demanding
- Weight Handling
- Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
