We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Victor Energy Ltd. as a Purchasing Officer. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in purchasing, procurement, and contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Specifications: Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
- Contract Negotiation: Determine contract terms and conditions, negotiate rates and terms, and monitor and adjust contract expenditures.
- Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization, including managing contracts and inspecting and evaluating material and equipment for compliance to standards.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers, establish and implement policies and procedures, and conduct performance reviews.
- Data Analysis: Assist in analysis of data and preparation of reports, and monitor and inspect quality of material produced.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and contracts.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
