Program Management Lead

Thales is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Management Lead to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of complex projects within the defense industry. You will lead a team of professionals, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, track performance against key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven dedication towards continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong business acumen and a commitment to delivering value to customers.
  • Rigorous and organized approach to project management.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly determine and communicate project status.
  • Ability to prioritize the use of resources effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Science, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience managing budgets worth at least 250k CAD.
  • Experience in the Defense industry.
  • Fluency in French.
Physical Demands:
  • Office work with occasional national and international travel, approximately four times per year.
