We are actively seeking Carpenters (All Levels) to become part of our team for a significant infrastructure project in Surrey, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct forms for concrete structures
  • Shape, cut, and join materials
  • Identify and rectify deficiencies in work
  • Ensure accuracy of work and make necessary adjustments
  • Interpret blueprints for effective work planning
  • Build and assemble chutes for concrete pouring
  • Set up scaffolding and ladders for elevated structures
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to apprentice carpenters
  • Report any abnormalities or defects to the supervisor and take pride in workmanship.

Qualifications:

  • Preference for candidates with a Journeyman Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or those registered as Carpenter Apprentices
  • Non-ticketed carpenters must demonstrate relevant hours in the industrial carpentry trade
  • CSTS & WHMIS certifications required
  • Fall Protection certification is advantageous
  • Ability to mentor and train apprentices effectively
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to identify and address safety compliance and regulatory issues
