Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Ignite Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the carpentry trade.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Judgement and team player skills.
This position requires working at heights, in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments.
Equipment and Machinery Experience- Hand tools.
This position requires willingness to travel.
