We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Drafter and Detailer to join our team at Global Lions Consulting Company Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and training new drafting personnel. They will also develop and prepare design sketches, prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, and write technical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using CAD software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Train new drafting personnel on company procedures and software
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and construction specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Write technical reports and specifications
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
Requirements
  • Civil engineering technology (CVT) certification
  • Steel detailing certification
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Tekla and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
