We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Drafter and Detailer to join our team at Global Lions Consulting Company Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and training new drafting personnel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering technology (CVT) and steel detailing certification. You will also be proficient in CAD software, including Tekla, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

In this role, you will work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle heavy loads. You will also be required to work in a team environment and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Train new drafting personnel
  • Develop and prepare design sketches
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Write technical reports
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with client, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements

Requirements:

  • Civil engineering technology (CVT) certification
  • Steel detailing certification
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Tekla, AutoCAD, and MS Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
