Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Drafter and Detailer to join our team at Global Lions Consulting Company Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings for structural steel fabrication
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Train new drafting personnel and develop design sketches
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Write technical reports and specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials, and complete documentation packages and drawing sets
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and consult with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements
Requirements
  • Civil engineering technology (CVT) certification
  • Steel detailing certification
  • Proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, and MS Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a flexible schedule, requiring 20-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the field and a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication.
