We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Clerk Supervisor to join our team at FESTIVAL FOOD MART. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and teaching interest or professional development courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and assign sales workers to duties
  • Teach interest or professional development courses
  • Order merchandise and authorize return of merchandise
  • Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Organize and maintain inventory, manage cash, and supervise office and volunteer staff
  • Supervise 1 to 2 people and have experience in merchandising or window display design
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail environment
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and have manual dexterity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
