Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Lab & X-ray Technologist (CLXT) Supervisor to lead our team at Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate technical staff activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Oversee the quality of work performed and participate in recruitment, performance management, and coaching of team members.
  • Work within the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards to ensure quality services to patients/clients.
  • Recommend updates to policies, protocols, and procedures, and compile financial and statistical reports.
  • Liaise with other departments to facilitate the provision of effective and appropriate services that meet client needs.
  • Perform technical duties as required.
About the Role

This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Graduated from a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist/Technician program.
  • Registered with a recognized provincial professional association.
  • Two (2) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
