Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Storm Mountain Lodge Corp. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, attention to detail is essential.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, rural area, hotel, motel, resort.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
