Position: Rehabilitation Service Specialist (RSS)

Type: Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Location: Remote Work Opportunity in Ontario

As a Rehabilitation Service Specialist (RSS), you will join a dedicated team focused on delivering a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services to veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families. Our organization is devoted to positively influencing the lives of these individuals through support, care, and recognition.

In your role within Lifemark's Rehabilitation Services and Vocational Assistance Program (RSVP), you will act as the main point of contact for program Participants. Your responsibilities will include fostering trust, building rapport, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to create thorough rehabilitation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess rehabilitation needs for Participants
  • Create tailored Rehabilitation Plans
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of experts
  • Support Participants in overcoming challenges
  • Identify and mitigate risk factors impacting outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience in rehabilitation services
  • Experience assisting individuals with health-related challenges
  • Ability to obtain federal security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual capabilities
  • Familiarity with community resources and educational institutions
  • Preference for former CAF members
