About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at TIGH-NA-MARA RESORTS LTD. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for guests and staff.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, including dishes, utensils, and equipment.
    • Assist in the cleaning and sanitizing of food preparation areas, including counters, sinks, and refrigerators.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and storing of food and beverage supplies.
    • Help to maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, management, and guests.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and guests.
