About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Jawanda and Son Enterprises. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
    • Scour pots and pans.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Customer Service
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
    • Take customers' orders.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
    • Handle and store cleaning products.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
    • Package take-out food.
    • Portion and wrap foods.
    • Work Term: Permanent.
    • Work Language: English.
    • Hours: 40 hours per week.
    Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
