Waste Management Driver

Emterra Group is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Waste Management Driver to join our team in Woodstock, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and processing waste and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Duties:

  • Operate a waste collection/recycling vehicle to collect and transport waste and recyclables.
  • Load curbside materials into the truck, ensuring accurate and efficient loading practices.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure successful completion of assigned routes and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driving record and CVOR.
  • Minimum one year experience driving with a DZ license or an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
