Job Title: Recycling and Garbage Driver/Loader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Recycling and Garbage Driver/Loader to join our team at Emterra Group. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for operating waste collection/recycling vehicles, loading curbside materials, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load curbside materials into the truck, ensuring accurate and timely completion of routes.
  • Observe and adhere to safe work practices, including pre and post-trip inspections.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner, meeting company standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driving record and CVOR.
  • Minimum one year experience driving with a DZ license or an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
