Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to spearhead the product marketing and digital initiatives within the Marketing department. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Product Marketing will be instrumental in shaping the marketing strategies related to the organization’s product offerings. The primary objective is to elevate the visibility, demand, and acceptance of the company's products and services in the marketplace. This position demands a proven track record in financial product marketing, market research, and strategic development, alongside exceptional leadership and communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and execute a holistic marketing strategy that encompasses both digital and traditional marketing approaches, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Craft clear and persuasive messaging that effectively conveys the value proposition, advantages, and unique features of our products and services, grounded in a thorough understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. Supervise the enhancement and expansion of the company’s digital footprint, including website management, social media engagement, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM). Oversee all marketing campaigns aimed at boosting sales and brand recognition through the digital marketing landscape, including SEO, SEM, and social media channels. Lead and develop a high-performing team across marketing strategy, planning, and digital marketing disciplines. Delegate responsibilities, offering guidance and support while ensuring effective communication within various marketing teams, including creative, brand, and insights. Collaborate with external agency partners and vendors as necessary. Champion technology and other initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing strategies. Assist in refining and optimizing the on-site experience through testing and user journey analysis. Assess and analyze the effectiveness of marketing expenditures against outcomes, utilizing data analytics tools to provide timely insights that inform business decisions. Ensure compliance with the governance of marketing data in alignment with the company's strategic objectives, safeguarding data integrity, availability, and privacy.

Educational Background

A post-secondary degree or diploma is required (preferably a university degree) in Business or Marketing or a related field.

Relevant Experience

Over 10 years of demonstrated experience with a robust background in digital and integrated marketing strategy and execution. B2B experience in the financial services sector is essential, ideally within the broker vertical. Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising is required. Strong leadership and project management capabilities. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Comprehensive understanding of data management, including governance and quality control. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently. Familiarity with regulatory requirements pertinent to the banking sector.
