Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a dedicated Security and Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Are you enthusiastic about ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for customers? As a Security and Loss Prevention Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers entering the store, providing a warm welcome and assisting with various security initiatives. You will work collaboratively with store personnel and may be assigned additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to security alarms and conduct receipt checks as necessary.
  • Identify safety hazards (e.g., spills, wet floors) and implement appropriate measures to ensure customer safety.
  • Timely escalation of any emergency or crisis situations.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security status.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail setting is preferred.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with store teams.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
  • Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
