Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Center Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of our training center or facility. As a key member of our Production team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating training programs, staff, and resources to ensure a successful and efficient learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of technical personnel responsible for developing and delivering training programs.
    • Provide guidance and support to trainers to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality training.
  • Training Program Development
    • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop training courses and programs that meet business needs.
    • Collaborate with the training team to design and deliver training programs that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Training Center Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the training center, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure that training instructors and candidates follow all workplace safety requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement
    • Monitor individual and organizational performance and training program metrics.
    • Consult with stakeholders to improve training effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, Leadership and Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum five (5) years of relevant leadership and management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record developing and implementing training programs and systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of current training methodologies and best practices.
    • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as ISO 13485 or AS9100 is an asset.

    • Total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) of $100,000 – 130,000 (CAD Annually).
