We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at S & J Trude Holdings Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively supervise and train staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to food and kitchen equipment. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:30-40 hours per week.
