Position Overview

As a Food Counter Attendant at Burger King, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This position requires a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set tables and deliver clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas.
  • Ensure cleanliness by sanitizing items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Clear and maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Efficiently load buspans and trays for service.
  • Operate dishwashers to ensure proper washing of dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Manually sanitize and wash dishes and other kitchen items.
  • Maintain records of food quantities utilized.
  • Prepare take-out food and package it appropriately.
  • Portion and wrap food items for service.
  • Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet setups.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize manual and electrical appliances for food preparation tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate areas.
  • Dispose of kitchen garbage and trash responsibly.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives as necessary.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits for preparation.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Familiarity with conventional ovens.
  • Experience using deep fryers.
  • Proficient in operating electronic cash registers.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail.
  • Standing for extended periods while working under pressure.
