Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Pizza Hut Wasaga Beach. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced restaurant setting, where teamwork and efficiency are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and other menu items.
  • Accommodate customers with specific dietary needs, including food allergies.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Train new kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols.
  • Manage inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their development.
  • Maintain accurate records of food supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure the kitchen and work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring of kitchen personnel.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Keep track of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Develop strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
