Safety and Health Specialist

About the Role:
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety concerns.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain safety metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in an industrial or construction setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and CSA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
