We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Plam Finishing Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with experience in building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems. You will also be responsible for fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as instructing apprentices and supervising other workers.

Responsibilities:
  • Construct, repair, and install structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in dusty conditions.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and work with minimal supervision.
