Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. As a key member of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by consistently offering a welcoming and friendly experience
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable
  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping leaders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Take ownership of guests' privacy and belongings, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Participate in deep cleaning of rooms as required, adhering to our ALL Safe – Stay Well, Leading Quality Assurance and Accor's brand standards
  • Follow all safety & sanitation policies, working safely to prevent injury
  • Foster positive relationships with fellow colleagues to create a seamless experience
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
Physical Aspects of the Position
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
