Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Central Health Newfoundland. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our program, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate biweekly divisional/program meetings, including preparing meeting transcripts, task assignments, and follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support for program documentation, including training schedules and clinical schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes, as well as program reports and statistical reports.
  • Develop presentations for community and provincial steering committees.
  • Provide follow-up on provincial steering committee action items and serve as the first point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Disperse program information and connect with clients/families regarding appointments and follow-up.
  • Liaise with provincial counterparts to support the expansion of our program to other health zones.
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school with a diploma recognized by the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
  • Completion of a two-year office administration program approved by Central Health.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Consistent demonstration of the core values of NL Health Services: Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (I CARE).
  • A satisfactory record of performance and attendance.
  • A satisfactory certificate of conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent experience in clerical work of a fiscal nature.
