Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Connect Transport Ltd.

Job Summary

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and manage workload
  • Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Train and develop staff to improve productivity and product quality
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
Work Environment

The Transportation Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.

Language and Work Hours

The language of work is English, and the work hours are 35 hours per week.
