About the Role

Genuine Comfort is a leading distributor of Air Conditioners and Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners across Canada and the Mid-North USA. We are dedicated to delivering comfort consistently to hospitality, commercial, and multi-family markets.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic sales leader to spearhead our Revenue Department and drive growth. As a Director of Sales and Marketing, you will create and execute strategic plans for marketing and sales, grow and foster a process-driven sales team, and provide coaching and support to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve year-over-year organic growth
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, setting KPIs and sales targets, and supporting team members in meeting quotas
  • Identify gaps in knowledge and approach, creating ongoing sales training to meet these needs
  • Design and implement a proven sales process, ensuring alignment with the short and long-term goals of the organization
  • Develop deep insights and industry knowledge to identify new market and product opportunities
  • Co-create and approve our marketing strategy and messaging
  • Prepare and present dashboard reports, scorecards, budgets, projections, and annual sales
Requirements
  • Proven success leading and growing B2B sales teams
  • Expertise in strategic planning and execution for measurable revenue growth
  • Ability to align sales initiatives with the organization's vision
  • Insights into what makes a great sales representative and how to align individual ambitions with the collective goals of the team and the organization
  • Ability to gain trust and build relationships at any level, navigating customer hesitance with creative solutions
