Project Overview

We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join our Agile team working on a critical project within the financial services sector. This project focuses on developing a robust consent management system for capturing and integrating member and client consent into existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the development of implementation strategies, performing analysis and development of software products, including design, coding, test automation, and operation while adhering to best practices for data security and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate closely with technical contributors and architects to ensure solutions align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Document technical solutions (deliverables and programs) to ensure product sustainability. Prepare and deliver training materials for peers and end-users.
  • Provide technical support for IT operations. Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and resolve system problems during critical incidents.
  • Validate and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of implemented changes.
  • Be responsible for installing and testing software packages or implementing applications.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in web development, specifically required.
  • Strong knowledge of Java web environments (JSP, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, etc.).
  • Proficiency in databases (Oracle, DB2) and SQL language.
  • Understanding of REST service concepts.
  • Familiarity with various development frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.).
  • Experience with development support tools (GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, etc.).
  • Technical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and PAAS.
  • Knowledge of Cucumber and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a significant asset.
  • Excellent teamwork, analytical thinking, autonomy, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to learn and integrate quickly into new environments.
