About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at MR. SUB. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure efficient inventory management.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 32-35 hour workweek. The work language is English.
