As a Programming Team Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of guiding a talented group of programmers dedicated to developing the essential technologies that power our games. Your expertise in technology, coupled with your leadership abilities, will be crucial in achieving our collective goals. You will take pride in your work and inspire your team to do the same.

With a comprehensive understanding of your team's roles, you will effectively coordinate efforts and enhance the overall productivity of the group. Your primary motivation will be to witness your team’s development and the delivery of high-quality systems that enrich the gaming experiences we offer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign tasks and monitor project progress during team meetings.
  • Equip your team with the necessary resources to work autonomously and contribute to the long-term technological strategy.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss performance, well-being, and career growth.
  • Review significant bugs and strategize on effective resolutions.
  • Maintain regular communication with leads from other disciplines to plan, assess risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with your team in coding tasks.
  • Keep your project lead updated on progress and engage with other leads to explore ways to enhance processes and share technologies.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in video game programming.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role managing a programming team.
  • Proficiency in C++ and other programming languages commonly utilized in game development.
  • Experience in the complete production cycle of at least one game or equivalent experience as a programming team lead.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and strategic leadership skills, along with a strong sense of empathy and diplomacy.
  • The ability to maintain composure in challenging situations, knowing that solutions are always available.
  • A thorough understanding of video game production processes and the ability to empathize with other professionals involved.
