Job Summary

The Human Resources Policy Officer will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs. This role will also involve advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Oversee the development of communication strategies
  • Advise senior management
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
Work Environment

The Human Resources Policy Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.

Language and Work Term

The language of work is English, and the work term is permanent with 30 to 40 hours per week.
