Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Specialist, DevOps to join our Individual Insurance IT team at Accoravillage. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing shared technology solutions and infrastructure, as well as partnering with cross-functional teams to develop, test, launch, and refine solutions to optimize the organization's service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance shared technology solutions and infrastructure
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, test, launch, and refine solutions
- Develop and implement infrastructure technologies that support business priorities and capabilities
- Provide technical and practice leadership to continuously evolve the capabilities and technologies that enable continuous delivery of shared infrastructure systems
- Support the implementation of corporate policies, standards, and procedures that provide effective architecture, governance, and management of Accoravillage's technical systems and solutions
- Work with internal and external teams to increase client satisfaction by improving the quality of systems and products through identification of issues, on-going maintenance, and implementation of solutions
- Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of components, including the maintenance, upgrading, or replacement of hardware and/or application software
- Assist in the maintenance of existing internal processes and quality system management documentation to uphold quality standards
- Monitor capacity usage and performance of assigned technologies to assure operational availability and process integrity
- Provide technical guidance to peers and/or end-users regarding technologies that enable continuous delivery of shared solutions
- Provide technical and practice leadership to continuously evolve the capabilities and technologies that enable Continuous Delivery
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or related discipline
- Hands-on experience in software development/design and CI/CD pipelines across multiple projects
- Proficient using Azure DevOps Services to create and manage automated pipelines that build, test, and deploy code changes
- Introducing/integrating with tools to support security scanning and test automation
- Configuration management tool such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet are highly desirable
- Monitoring tools like Zabbix, OPNET, and/or SPLUNK, or any other monitoring tools/processes
