Job Opportunity

Holy Family Catholic Regional Division is seeking a qualified teacher to fill a position at St. Thomas More School in Fairview, Alberta.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced teacher to teach Senior Social Studies and CTS courses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in secondary humanities and social studies/history, as well as experience in assessment for learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Senior Social Studies and CTS courses
  • Support students with individualized program plans, enrichment, modifications, and/or accommodations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Meet the requirements for teaching in the Province of Alberta
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, and educational technology proficiency
  • Ability to work in a rural Catholic community environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
