Job Title: Answering Service Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Answering Service Operator to join our team at Scotia Business Centre Limited.

Job Summary:

The Answering Service Operator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, handling incoming calls, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet clients and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas, provide basic information, and obtain and process information required to provide customer service.
  • Switchboard Operations: Operate a switchboard or telephone system, record and relay information, schedule and confirm appointments, and send invoices.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain work records and logs, receive and issue payments, perform clerical duties such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, and calculate billing charges.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in switchboard operations, word processing software, electronic mail, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Must have own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Will train.
  • Night shift premium.
  • Parking available.
