Primary Care Paramedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Paramedic to join our team at HSE Integrated. As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing medical emergency response services in an industrial setting.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and attending to patient injuries, determining a course of treatment, and providing first aid or support to injured workers. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency services, cleaning and decontaminating vehicles and/or clinic areas, and maintaining areas in a state of operational/medical readiness.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical emergency response services in an industrial setting
- Assess and attend to patient injuries; determine a course of treatment
- Provide first aid or support to injured workers
- Effectively communicate status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency services
- Clean and decontaminate vehicles and/or clinic areas
- Maintain areas in a state of operational/medical readiness
- Registration as a Primary Care Paramedic with the Alberta College of Paramedics
- H2S Alive
- CPR - Health Care Provider (HCP) or Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Non GDL Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's License
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Highly skilled and well known for bringing order to chaos; especially when patients are scared, in pain or shock from an injury
- Caring yet take control type of personality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Functional knowledge of computer operations, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Effectively organize and prioritize situations and activities ranging from urgent patient care issues to routine office and clinic duties
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment
